Established in 1977, this canal side commercial group of shops and community service groups was known as Fairport Village Landing in Fairport NY. It became an important part of the original Erie Canal – barge system. Boaters, vacationers and area residents alike have enjoyed The Landing for many years as a place to visit in the Village of Fairport.
Currently Fairport Village Landing is home to a variety of retail shops, offices and one of the finest libraries in NYS. To make the most of this premier location, a complete renovation needed to occur that would blend an appreciation for its early American heritage with modern amenities. Eager to make this happen, FDP Management decided to undertake this large project. This long term commitment to the development of Fairport Village Landing promises exciting changes and improvements. FDP is proud to be part of its future and what it will bring to the Village of Fairport and to surrounding areas for years to come. |
